hey there! I'm Delaney,
It's Nice to Meet You

When I was 16, my brother passed away. If I hadn’t had a camera–or any interest in documenting the people I loved—I wouldn’t have the photographs I have of him now. Those images became more than memories; they became proof of love, of presence, of a life deeply felt. That loss shaped the way I see photography—not as something simply beautiful, but as something meaningful. Something worth holding onto.

Years later, that same feeling found me again at a wedding. I was paid $300 by a friend of my dad’s to photograph the day, not knowing it would change everything. From the quiet moments of getting ready to the emotion of the ceremony, the laughter over dinner, and the celebration on the dance floor—I felt the intimacy, the love, the connection woven through the entire day. It was honest and fleeting and incredibly human. I fell in love with wedding photography because it felt like documenting legacy in real time.

My approach is calm, observant, and deeply intentional. I don’t stage moments or ask you to perform. I show up as a trusted presence—someone who feels more like a friend than a vendor—so you can be fully present while I document your day as it naturally unfolds. The glances, the nervous hands, the happy tears, the way it all feels when you’re surrounded by your people.

I’m drawn to couples who are deeply in love, curious about the world, and excited to build a life together. Those who value meaning over perfection and want photographs that feel warm, romantic, and true—images that will grow more powerful with time. My hope is that when you look back at your photos years from now, you don’t just remember how it looked—but how it felt.
