Fran and Liv met each other in their freshman year of high school and have been attached at the hip ever since. What better way to say goodbye to High school than together? That's why Fran and Liv decided to celebrate their senior year with a senior session together, and boy how fun was it!
It's always so fun to photograph young woman entering a new phase of life, as a woman myself (and not too much older than them) I remember the excitement, the fear, and the anticipation of what comes next. I am honored to have documented two beautiful young women, both inside and out.
Taking photos can be such an overwhelming feeling, especially if you feel you don't know what you're doing. Liv and Fran were definitely a bit timid in the beginning, but soon all the laughs and giggles came out. We did a bunch of silly and cute prompts like frockling and ring-around-the-rosie. Fran got a bunch of lessons on how to frocklic–and maybe some teasing too. These girls are such a pair, I loved our time together and cannot wait to see where they go in this new stage in life! So everyone get your congratulations in order for these two 2025 high school graduates!
I had the pleasure of meeting Lex through Instagram, in January 2024. I had just started my thesis for college and my goal was to photograph couples and relationships in a documentary, authentic manner. She reached out to my post asking for interested couples and we immediately hit it off. After finally meeting these two almost TWO months later, I fell in love with their relationship. The way Brady looks at Lex and Lex looks at Brady, you can feel their love. We had a lot of laughs and this was not only a wonderful day, but such a comfortable session and I am so honored that I was able to
create an environment and space where they felt free to interact with one another as if I wasn't present. Being able to know Lex and Brady is like knowing them for life, you feel like you have literally known them for years and then you're like "Wait–I JUST met you??" I am so excited to work with long-term and I cannot wait to see where their relationship goes and grows, as well as their lives :)
All my love,
Delaney
