2024 was such a year. To be able to end it with a wedding out in Fallbrook, California at the Tivoli Italian Villa was just unbelieve-able. Katie and Matt were some of the sweetest, most wholesome people I've met, with a small army of loved ones surrounding them as they embark on this new chapter. The days leading up to their wedding were chilly, and yes I do mean it was cold in California. As a native Ohioan, I never thought that sentence would come out of my mouth–or keyboard. But, when their wedding day came is was nothing but warmth and sunshine. I mean we were sweating by the middle of it, it was that warm. I always love wedding days like these. You never know what you're going to get until it happens and sometimes it's a wonderful blessing, and others an unexpected surprise.

During the ceremony when Matt began to read his vows to Katie, one thing he said stuck out to me the most. When they had started dating, they lived over 2 hours away from each other, but every weekend, or as often as he could, he always made that drive to see Katie. You could hear in his voice how difficult that was on him, yet how passionate he was for Katie, still is. That's love. It's the long nights, the long car rides, the battle to see one another, to love one another. Katie and Matt never let the physical distance between them keep them from one another. They are truly such a special pair and I am honored I got to document such a gorgeous day.
