I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was when Will reached out to me hoping that I could document his proposal to Sarah. I met these two sweethearts in early 2024 for my Senior Thesis, documenting couples and various relationships. They are such kind people individually and together, you can. truly feel the blissful love between them.
I love documenting proposals, but unfortunately they sometimes do not always go as planned, and this was one of those times. Will and I met up at Goodale Park right off of the Short North. We walked around the property and picked out a spot next to the Gazebo overlooking the pond.
Well, a week passed and we met again on a Friday for their proposal. My goal: to stay hidden while also wearing a bright pink raincoat. Will and I had arranged where I would sit, which was a nearby bench. Well when the moment came they were about 150 feet away from me when I saw Will get on one knee. When I tell you I SPRINTED–I really did. He ended up changing the location last minute and I looked away for one second and there he ended up proposing. I think it ended up being perfect, they got to enjoy that moment just them, then I was able to come and document it with them. What a beautiful, blessed couple. I'm beyond words of how happy I am for them, I can't wait to see them get married and start building the life of their dreams together. Congratulations again Sarah and Will!
